Our Team

Pastor James McCulloch and his wife, our first lady,  Darlene McCulloch have been faithful servants of the Lord through their lifestyle and ministry. Pastor James and Darlene both got saved in 1987, filled with the Holy Ghost in 1988 and began pastoring AWC on January 1, 1997. Since then, God has showed up and showed out at AWC. The Lord has used this country church in the middle of a cotton field, with a country, down to earth pastor, and transformed many lives for His Kingdom. Pastor James McCulloch has a heart for personal ministry and a gift for discipling people. He enjoys seeing people radically changed for the cause of Christ. He lives a life of integrity and devotion to the Lord inside and outside of the church walls. You can often find him praying for someone in his office at his carlot, or leading someone to Jesus in the grocery store or bank. He loves people enough to tell them the uncomfortable truth and he is dedicated to obeying and pleasing God. You won't have to come around very long for him to give you a nickname or shake your hand. He genuinely loves people and longs to see them changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
